| Who are you? | We are www.northwestmustangsandfords.com a website dedicated to the promotion of Mustangs and Ford autos. | ||
| What is your purpose? | To provide owners of Mustangs, Thunderbirds, Model-T's and other Ford powered vehicles a place to show their cars, learn about them through articles, and to share with others the knowledge they have acquired themselves over the years. | ||
| What do you mean by "and Fords"? | Right now we have sites open for the above mentioned Ford products, we intend to open one for Rods and Customs as well. This can be any other Ford product you may own, of any year. You may show these cars as can the owners of the Mustangs, T-Birds and model-T's. | ||
| How many people run the site? | As of this time (2-06) only one. It is the intention to have people as webmasters for each sub-site as well as the primary. Interested? Send an e-mail to the webmaster and we'll talk! At the moment the website is frozen at the three mentioned above until there are others on board. | ||
| Are you affiliated with Ford Motor Company? | No such luck. We receive no funding from or extra considerations from Ford Motor Company for our site. We are here to give Ford lovers a place to share their rides and their expertise with one another. | ||
| Can I post my car? | You bet! That is one of the primary functions of the site! Send your photos along with information on your car to the webmaster and we'll post it for you. Not sure what to send? No problem, ask, and we'll send you a tech sheet. | ||
| How much does it cost to post my car? | Not a cent! This site is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. Not only can you post your car, if you have tech article material from your own re-build, restoration or customizing you would like to share, send it in...we'll post it under the Tech Articles section. | ||
| How about groups of people sending in their cars? | If you have a club, or just a bunch of friends who want to all send in their rides, please do it! We'll give you credit for being a club, or a group of enthusiasts on the index page of your car's website. In fact...we welcome club participation! | ||
| What are rules for showing my car? |
Not many actually. 1) The cars we show must
be Fords,
2) they must be
Ford powered, and
3) this is a website to promote
Ford vehicles, and so showing
one with a Bow-Tie or Mopar motor just wouldn't work would it? We also don't believe that a car has to be pristine to be someone's pride and joy! If you like it, then show it off! If you are doing a driving restoration or custom project, no problem...send the pics in as you make improvements...think of what your page will look like when you have finished the work! Everyone can and should show their rides! Even if you are not, it is your ride, and it suits your desires...so show it off. (I've driven some pretty rough looking cars in my day!) |

| Do I have to live in the Northwest to show my car? | Absolutely not. The website is hosted and run from the Northwest, hence the name. But as we started talking to people about it, we discovered friends in other parts of the country who wanted to show their cars as well. We actually don't care if you are in the USA or in another country. Love of the Ford product line is all that is required. | ||
| How long will my car be shown on the website? | As long as you want, or as long as you own the car. There is no minimum or maximum length of time for it to be up. Of course, if you sell the car, please let us know, and we will remove it unless the new owner would like it left up, with changes to the ownership rights of course. | ||
| Can we link our club to your site? And will you link yours to ours? | Absolutely! If you check the primary and sub-site web-pages, you will see that each has a page for links. We try to keep them current with links for clubs, magazines, parts houses and anything else of interest. | ||
| Can we sell things through the websites? | At the moment, we don't have a parts wanted or for sale section on any of the three sites, however, if the need arises, we can add that. You want to sell something? Send it in, and we'll open parts listing page. | ||
| What about shows and other events? | As we find out about shows and events of interest, we will post them. If there is a Ford event happening that you think we should know about, send it to us, and we'll get it up. Keep in mind these must be events that Fords can attend. We can't list Bow-Tie or Mopar only events. | ||
